It is a privilege to serve as the Registrar of IIT Hyderabad, an institution known for its academic excellence, research innovation, and progressive administrative culture. Since its inception, IITH has grown rapidly and has established itself as a leading institute in the country and globally. I am fortunate to have been associated with the Institute since its early formative years, and I have witnessed its remarkable journey built on the collective commitment of faculty, staff, students, and all stakeholders.

My focus is on strengthening transparent, efficient, and people-centric administrative systems that support the Institute’s vision of fostering cutting-edge research and high-quality education. With more than three decades of experience in administration across Government of India, CSIR laboratories and the IIT system, I remain committed to enhancing service delivery, streamlining processes, and enabling a responsive and supportive administrative framework.

I look forward to continuing our collective efforts to build IIT Hyderabad into an institution that not only excels academically but also embodies integrity, inclusiveness, and innovation in all its endeavors.
