Nano-Optics & Devices Lab

We are looking for passionate new PhD students, Postdocs, Master and project students to join the team (more info). Students with CSIR/DST scholarships can apply throughout the year for a position in the lab !

We are an active group in the department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering at IIT Hyderabad. Our aim is to explore and understand nano-scale optical phenomena occurring in plasmonic and photonic systems and exploit them for various applications.

We are grateful for funding from IIT Hyderabad, SERB and DST-Nanomission.

Lab location:

Currently the equipment are located in labs A-603 (spectroscopy), A-523 (chemical synthesis and nanoparticle characterization) and C-109 (thin film deposition).
