Research Synopsis

Our aim is to design a digital chip to solve the Underdetermined Blind Source Separation(UBSS) problem which is useful in Healthcare and particularly it is useful to study the Autism patients. In Autism treatment we have to observe the progress of health status by studying the EEG signals collecting from about 128 Leads. But to use these many Leads is difficult with children. So using UBSS we can get the 128 signal information using a few sensors/Leads.
              So we Investigated the Low-complex Architectural Issues in UBSS such as HighSpeed Reconfigurable DHT and Reconfigurable ND-FastICA for the extreme case of UBSS where number of sensor signals used is only one, which is called Single Channel Independent Component Analysis(SCICA) .
