I am looking for motivated and hard-working students who not only strive to come up with novel ideas but also have the audacity to implement their ideas even if it means to understand/develop a huge codebase. I expect students to not only read research papers but think critically about the shortcomings within those papers and come up with ways to improve them. Excellent programming skill becomes a necessacity if one wants to implement any non-trivial idea that works on real-world systems.
Please go through my research interests and/or publications and see if we have something of mutual interest. Even if you do not find my research interests aligned with yours, I would be happy to work with you if you have an exciting idea/problem that you wish to explore including developing a useful application.
