Carbon MEMS : New Horizons

It’s our immense pleasure to announce the fourth Carbon-MEMS international meeting, first such meeting in India to be hosted by Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, from December 5-7, 2018.

Theme

The theme of this year’s meeting is Carbon MEMS: New Horizons. There will be plenary session on emerging trends in this exciting area. A number of technical sessions will be focused on pushing the Carbon-MEMS frontiers in the area of healthcare, extreme point-of care diagnostics, energy storage and energy harvesting, sensors and resonators and so on.

This international meeting is based on invitation only and have an objective to bring researchers actively working in this field under an umbrella for exploring the possibility to work together, collaborate by writing joint proposals and through enabling exchange of students to explore new horizons.

If you are working on any of the themes as listed above, and are willing to participate in the meeting, please write to us to consider your participation favorably.

Participation

We envision the presence of around 60 delegates leading Carbon MEMS research in different parts of the world including US, Germany, Denmark, China, Mexico, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Switzerland, UK, Italy, Spain and of course, India.

We hope that this meeting will provide a unique opportunity to establish new collaborations and strengthen the existing ones. Young researchers will have an opportunity to present posters and get mesmerized with plenary, keynote and invited lectures by leading Carbon MEMS researchers from all parts of the globe.

We also hope that you will enjoy the pleasant weather and warm hospitality in Hyderabad in the month of December. This may be one such “not to miss” opportunity to visit India, and specially Hyderabad for enjoying delicious food, and to familiarize yourself with Indian cultural heritage.
