    VLSI systems for resource-constrained applications, Low Power Design Techniques, Machine learning hardware design, Edge Computing, Healthcare Technology and chip-design targeting remote health monitoring including cardio-vascular diseases, Diabetes, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Neurological disorder, Orthopaedically handicapped patients, Accelerating Cancer diagnostic procedures through hardware-software co-design, Signal Processing Algorithm and VLSI Architectures, Digital Arithmetic, Hardware Security, Real-time Battery Health monitoring for the Electric Vehicles, Design for Testability and Reliability.


Awards and Recognition

  • Conferred with Digital Trail Blazer Awards at the Digital Technology Conclave by India Today TV in Telangana State, India on 2nd July, 2016 for achievement in healthcare technology for developing the chip-set for the remote cardio-vascular health monitoring. (News coverage of this work appeared in the Indian Express and Times of India on 17th January and 27th January, 2016 respectively).

  • Recipient of Visvesvaraya Young Faculty Fellowship Award from the Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India for year 2015-16.

  • Recipient of the Young Engineer Award in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering by the Institution of Engineers, India (IEI) in 2015

  • Visiting Research Fellow in the School of Electronics and Computer Science in the University of Southampton, UK from May 2015 - May 2017

  • Recipient of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics Fellowship from the University of Liverpool, UK in Summer, 2015.
