The Department of materials Science & Metallurgical Engineering at IIT Hyderabad is organising a Five day Workshop on Materials MIcrostructure characterization using optical and scanning electron microscopy for TEQIP Colleges.
About The Worksop:
Materials microstructure characterization has become an integral part and connecting link in materials composition-property relationship for finding its suitable applications. With development in science and technology, light and electron based characterization techniques have evolved and facilitated understanding of matter and its advanced applications. The Department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering at IIT Hyderabad is organizing a TEQIP workshop on ‘Materials Microstructure Characterization using Optical and Scanning Electron Microscopy’ exclusively for colleges registered as TEQIP colleges. The five day workshop will cover principles and applications of materials characterization using optical and electron microscope. The workshop aims to offer unique hands-on experience on optical and scanning electron microscopes as well. The participation is open to all disciplines but the number of participants is limited.
