Office Order
Prof. Vinayak Eswaran Department of Mechanical Engineering, Professor, is appointed as Dean (Faculty) of IIT Hyderabad for a period of three years w.e.f. 22 March, 2011.
Dr. Shiv Govind Singh, Asst. Professor, will be the Chairman, Sports. He will be the incharge of all the sports activities (Indoor & Outdoor) of the students.
Dr. K. B. Prabeesh, Asst. Professor, will be the Chairman, Student Cultural Activities. He is the incharge of all the student cultural activities of the Institute.
The following faculty will function as Wardens of the hostel as inidicated below with immediate effect:
Prof. Faiz Ahmed Khan, Professor
Warden for PG hostels consisting of Ph.D and M.Tech students
Dr. M. Ramji, Asst. Professor
Warden for UG hostel consisting of B.Tech third year students and some of B.Tech second year students
Dr. Prem Pal, Asst. Professor
Warden for B.Tech first year students and some of B.Tech second year students
Dr. Rajalakshmi, Asst. Professor
Warden for Girls hostels consisting all Ph.D., M.Tech. and B.Tech. students
The duties and responsibilities of wardens are as follows:
1. The warden shall act as a liaison between the institute and the hostel inmates.
2. The warden shall look after the mess and mess affairs.
3. Any other responsibility related to Hostel Affairs as and when assigned by the Director.
