I broadly work on parallel and distributed systems. Currently, I am working on two broad areas:
In the area of parallel programming, I am interested in Concurrent Data-Structures and Software Transactional Memory. You can find a simple introduction to STMs here and a related PPT here.
In the area of distributed systems, I have recently started exploring permission-less Blockchains. Currently, we are exploring efficient mining algorithms in Bitcoin and Ethereum networks.
If you have some interesting ideas in any of the above areas like designing efficient 'thread-safe' data structures or new blockchain network, I would like to know more about them. Feel free to contact me about them. Apart from this, I am also interested in the general broad area of parallel and/or distributed computing.
